Almost every week in recent history, there is a day or two where I want to craft. I have the itch to create something, but by the time I get home at the end of the day, I just don’t have the energy. I look at my craft supplies, shrug my shoulders and give up. I am more than ready to get over this hump. All those supplies in my bedroom needs some love. I am hoping that today changes that.
Today is the last day at work for a co-worker I adore. She is moving out of town to be closer to family and gain a fresh starts after a hard year thus far. I wanted to make her something that made her realize she was special to us and loved. I managed to put together a bracelet for her. I added a charm that I think she will treasure. It reads “May God be with you”. That is my wish for her as she starts her new journey. The goal for the rest of today is to not cry when it is time to say goodbye (I’ve already done that when she announced she was leaving 3 weeks ago)
I hope she like it and I hope my crafting drought is over.
