#4 complete. Over Christmas, the boys and I visited my mother who had moved to Maryland to work in D.C. a year ago. It was a wonderful trip. I do miss my mom only living 2.5 hours, but if visiting her means we get to tour all kinds of neat places, then I can deal with that. It was lovely time. I also think she really loved having her family in her neck of the woods for the holidays. We visited the Smithsonian Castle, The MLK memorial, The War memorial, National Harbor rode the Metro and saw some snow fall.
