I am one young lady who thinks I have the best daddy in the world ( I am sure I am not the only one). During my speech I mentioned how terrific it is too grow up and know that at least one person thinks you are "good enough" as is. It was a powerful feeling as a young lady navigating middle and high school. When people were mean and said things that were not true, I never dwelled on them too long because my father told me that I was was great and I believed him.
The next evening my sister and I planned a craft night. We
gathered some wine, cheese, crackers, paints and canvas. We printed a picture
that we thought would be fun for us to all try and create and went to work. It
was fun being creative with family.
This was such a fun activity. I think this will go in my
back pocket to use as a girls night or something.
